Aelia's marine branch was originaly named I.B.C. Ltd. was founded in 1990, as insurance agent for a local insurance company and was one of the first intermediary insurance companies in the newly established State of Slovenia, completely private owned.
On 19.09.2016 I.B.C. Ltd. has merged with Aelia Assurances Group changing itself the name into AELIA ASSURANCES Ltd. combining knowledge and expertise in the areas of marine and yacht insurances with the proven and well known expertise of Aelia Assurances Group insuring at present more than 1.500 business jets and 650 turbine helicopters.
In the new form we have better access to major European insurers being able to provide to our clients a wider range of solutions and higher capacity.
